HOME: Nevada City is a residential micro-community and regenerative business incubator founded on Permaculture design principles. 

HOME is solving three societal problems with one initiative.

1) Housing Insecurity - there is a shortage of affordable rental housing that is suitable to individuals and small families. HOME is a model for permanently affordable rental housing living in a micro-community.

2) Regenerative economics - there is a shortage of meaningful sustainable jobs for people in both the Nevada City Area and throughout the rest of California. HOME is creating a regenerative business incubator and catalyzing new meaningful employment opportunities for the larger community.

3) Loneliness, isolation and alienation - these feelings are currently an epidemic that leads to drug abuse, toxic relationships, violence and suicide. While there is no panacea to late-stage capitalism, community provides the best remedy we've been able to find in modern society.
